# Run the Disable Security Script

* Right-click on [**Disable Security.exe**](https://github.com/ionuttbara/windows-defender-remover/releases/download/release_def_12_8/DefenderRemover.exe) and select **"Run as administrator."**
* Follow any prompts that appear to complete this step.
